White Stag Folk aim to bring you enjoyable folk dancing and traditional song.
These English Ceilidhs are like a barn dance, but with occasional song or displays to give you a breather. We always have a live band and a caller who demonstrates then calls every dance. Anyone from seven to seventy and beyond can do it.
There's no stress, you're bound to enjoy yourselves, whether you have two left feet or not!
We're operating on a not-for-profit basis; any surplus from the door and the raffle (after paying for the hall, band, caller, insurance, heating and so on) goes to the band and the caller.
What's in it for us? We get to dance too!
